My personal journey with spirit began with my Christian upbringing. I've always believed in an unseen guiding Presence that I could have a relationship with. I grew up with faith in Spirit/God. However, connecting with small "s" spirit was the farthest thing from my mind ...
The first time I received the message that I am a medium came through a healing session I had with a Christian EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner (Crystal Derksen) after the death of my son, Luke, by suicide. Crystal is also a medium, and would bring in the spirit of Jesus, as well as Luke, into our sessions. I had recently graduated with my Master of Social Work degree and had studied various types of therapy (and was in therapy myself with a traditional “talk” therapist) but I had never heard of or experienced the kind of healing that came through Crystal’s intentional and present-moment inviting of spirit into our sessions. I experienced that, far from being evil, mediumship could actually be a vehicle of healing!
I am a Certified Evidential Medium. That means I have been trained to receive evidence from spirit, to provide "proof" of the identity of the spirit, before I deliver pertinent messages. I am in my second year of training with Sarina Baptista (sarinabaptista.com), now working towards my Master certificate. Our training includes regularly practicing our skills with classmates and volunteers.
My passion and intention is to serve both you and spirit to the best of my ability, facilitating spirit connections for healing, insight and expansion (both yours and my own). I want to help you make connections with spirit so that we can all come to know, through experience, that we are surrounded by the love and support of a "great cloud of witnesses" in spirit that are helping us "run with endurance this race set before us". We are not alone! Our passed loved ones and a myriad of other spirit beings are as close as our psychic senses are open to perceive them.
